From visionary theatre-makers behind postmodern thriller, Doppelgangster’s TITANIC comes a mesmerising, psychedelic tale of three lighthouse keepers on an isolated island.
Imperiled by oppressive fog, when a ship ignores their light and smashes into the rock, nothing prepares them for what’s on board. Featuring blistering performances by BA Acting & Performance students from Sheffield Hallam University, and BA Creative Arts students from La Trobe University (Melbourne), Doppelgangster cranks up the horror and tension in this audio work inspired by Three Skeleton Key by George Toudouze.
Doppelgangster is an international group of contemporary performers, musicians, and choreographers. It was founded by Tobias Manderson-Galvin and Dr. Tom Payne out of the desire to create provocative political performances in response to climate change, class, and capital.
Members of the writing team and cast include Harry Walker, Georgina Beresford, Richard Delroy, Maraya Ashworth, Jessie Jones, Matt Skelton, Connie Fiddament, Zac Jansen, Morgan Belli, Zac Jansen, Claude Sarmiento, Clara Kerviel, Mo Brooklyn, and Erica Vandenberg. Music by Jules Pascoe.
